Macbeth the Murderer...
So now I have been king for quite some time. The longer I have been king, the worse things I have done. In the beginning, everyone thought that Malcolm and Donalbain had killed King Duncan, but as time went on, I started to believe that Banquo was suspicious. The reason I suspected Banquo was because he heard the prophecy with the witches. I also wanted him gone so his family line would not exist because I want my own children to be king. So to kill him I sent three murderers to kill Banquo and his son Fleance. The only problem is they let Fleance go and only killed Banquo. Since then, I have killed many people to stay in power and sometimes I seem completely insane with guilt, but I need to keep doing this. The more I do it the better I will become at it. I need to stay in power.Thursday, December 17, 2015

King Macbeth of Scotland!
Just like the witches said a fortnight ago, I did become King of Scotland. I was crowned two days ago. Now I am in Dunsinane on my new throne, but I am not as happy as you might think. In fact, I am feeling terrible. I cannot sleep and cannot wash off the feeling of blood on my hands. I have terrible nightmares and terrible visions because of one terrible reason; I killed King Duncan. This is how it happened: When I went to the castle at Inverness, I told my wife about the Witches' prophecy. She told me to stage a murder at the upcoming party and kill King Duncan. I was struck and disgusted by her statement, but she teased me for it by telling me to be a man. Soon she convinced me and then in the middle of the next night I took a dagger and killed the King in his sleep. When news spread the two heirs Malcolm and Donalbain fled so they would not be killed. Then everyone blamed them for the death and I was made king.Blog Post #3
The Promotion
A day after the victory over the Irish, Banquo and I were approached by three quite unusual people, witches. They hailed me as Thane of Glamis, Thane of Cawdor, and King of Scotland! Then they told Banquo that he will have children that will be kings. We were both very puzzled and did not trust what they said, but soon after King Duncan made me Thane of Cawdor. I was so astonished. Banquo was also honored for his bravery. King Duncan also said that we should have a celebration at my castle at Inverness to honor my promotion and the victory of the war. Now I need to rush home to tell my wife so we can make a grand celebration. I still don't know how the witches foresaw me becoming Thane of Cawdor.I am now always thinking about if they are right about me becoming King as well, but the thought is rather absurd as there are two people in line to be king in front of me, Malcolm and Donalbain. Now I need to ride forth!Blog Post #2
The Battle is Won!
As we met the Irish army, we were struck by their numbers. The battle was long and we were not doing well. They were driving us back behind our battlements. We would soon have to retreat. The battle went even worse when King Duncan's son Malcolm was almost captured by Irish forces. I knew I would have to do something dangerous to turn the tide, so I led a small division to break through enemy lines on a mission to assassinate Macdonwald. Once we broke through enemy lines I told my men to retreat so Macdonwald wouldn't suspect that I was behind his men. I then marched up behind him and slew his bodyguards. Then I overpowered him and cut off his head. I then fled to the battlements with his head were I hung it. Once the news of his death spread, Banquo and I led a charge though their army ending in their surrender.Blog Post #1
We are at War!
It has only been two days since the Norwegians have declared war on the kingdom of Scotland. Those inglorious scoundrels! I will never allow the defeat our homeland no matter how hard it will be to fight them. They will enter our territory within a couple of days. We are preparing our fortresses and rallying our troops. The Norwegian king has such a large army that it doesn't matter how many troops we round up, we will not get as big of a number that he does. We thanes and generals will have to use the home field advantage and all our wit to fend off this mighty invasion. We have also another army from Ireland led by the traitor, Maconwald. I am in charge of one division of the army and I will be in charge of fighting the invading Irish. It will be an extremely tough, yet decisive battle.
